One of the first steps to do in society accounting module is to configure various expense heads of the society. Society accounting in ApnaComplex offers ability to add unlimited number of expense heads.
Please follow below procedure to setup expense categories into the system.
Go to Accounting->Setup, click on “Setup Expense Categories” link , and then click on “Add new categories”, enter category names in text box and click on “Add Categories”.
Upon adding expense heads, the system internally creates relevant general ledger accounts to be associated with each head.
By default, all expense categories are grouped under accounting group called “Expenses”. You can regroup the expense heads by going to Accounting->Chart of Accounts.
